Cooperation launched in hydrogen region
Sassnitz-Mukran, December 20, 2019 -With the first strategy dialogue, the HyStarter project was launched in Stralsund on 17 December 2019. The aim of this project is to show concrete ways in the Rügen-Stralsund region how green hydrogen - hydrogen generated from renewable electricity - can be produced and made usable in the region.
The regional core team so far includes: EnergieWerk Rügen e. G., Hanseatic City of Stralsund, Stralsund University of Applied Sciences/ Institute for Regenerative Energy Systems, LEKA State Energy and Climate Protection Agency MV GmbH, District of Vorpommern-Rügen, Mukran Port (Fährhafen Sassnitz GmbH), Sustainability Centre Rügen e.V., Stadtwerke Stralsund, Tourismusverband Insel Rügen, UmWeltSchule Rügen e.V., Weiße Flotte GmbH, Wirtschaftsfördergesellschaft Vorpommern GmbH (Vorpommern.Deutschlands Sonnendeck), Verkehrsgesellschaft Vorpommern-Rügen VVR (VVR), Zweckverband Wasserversorgung und Abwasserbehandlung Rügen (ZWAR)
