Henry Forster becomes the new managing director of Fährhafen Sassnitz GmbH

Sassnitz-Mukran, 11 October 2024 – With effect from January 1, 2025, Henry Forster will take over the position of managing director and thus the management of Fährhafen Sassnitz GmbH. This was decided unanimously by the shareholders of the city of Sassnitz and the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Henry Forster succeeds long-standing Managing Director Harm Sievers, who retired on September 30, 2024. Fridjof Ostenberg, previously authorized signatory and head of the company's legal department, has been interim managing director since October 1, 2024.
