Fährhafen Sassnitz GmbH and Deutsche Eisenbahn Service AG jointly operate the autonomous public railway company Baltic Port Rail Mukran GmbH.
The taking up of shunting operations aims at better port and rail handling coordination and makes railway activities more flexible.
