COVID-19 Updates
  • From 01.04.2021, the Skane Jet will operate on Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun in the special timetable described below between Ystad and Mukran:

    Sassnitz - Ystad 12:30 - 15:00

    Ystad - Sassnitz 16:00 - 18:30
  • It is planned to resume the regular operations on 01.05.2021.

 

  • The resumption of the Sassnitz-Rönne ferry service will take place from April 5, 2021.

Sassnitz - Ystad (Sweden)


FRS Baltic operates the fastest ferry line between the European mainland and Sweden. A high-speed catamaran with a car deck connects Sassnitz with Ystad in southern Sweden in just 2.5 hours. The two departures per day make a day trip possible.

Sassnitz – Rønne (DENMARK)

 

Sassnitz-Rønne route will be temporary closed down from 1st November until the 17th December, both days included, due to the increase in the restrictions forced by COVID-19.


The Bornholmslinjen operates the only ferry sailing between the popular holiday islands of Rügen and Bornholm. The distance of just 55 nautical miles is the shortest direct link from Germany to Bornholm.

Sassnitz - Ust-Luga via Baltiysk (Russia)

The rail ferry route between Sassnitz and Ust-Luga via Baltiysk covers a distance of 630 nautical miles. It is the shortest connection from Germany to Russia. The sailing time takes around 48 hours.
