ARRIVAL & PARKING

Located on Germany's largest island, Mukran Port has excellent transport connections by rail, road and sea. Due to its sea-geographical location on the north-eastern side of the island of Rügen, the port is used as a hub between Central Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltic States and CIS.

By car, coach, caravan, truck

From the A20 in Stralsund please change over to B96 direction Sassnitz. After little more than 30 km, take the B96b to Mukran and follow it until you reach the port. Due to the clear lane guidance you can keep a good overview.

By Bike

For those arriving by bike, the route is signposted and marked. Bicycle travelers are guided to the ferry by port staff from the canopy of the terminal stair tower.

On ferry crossings to Rönne, guests are checked in directly under the canopy and directed to boarding.

Please pay attention to the ferry company's instructions and the requirement to push bicycles.

By public transport

The bus line 22 of the VVR (Verkehrsgesellschaft Vorpommern-Rügen mbH) serves the bus stops "Mukran Fährhafen". From there it is about 200 m to the passenger terminal.

By train

Direct Connection to the ferry port of Sassnitz

In the 2024 summer holiday season, a direct train connects the ferry port of Sassnitz with the Bergen auf Rügen train station on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. In the low season, the RE27 runs every Saturday until October 19, 2024. The shuttle train provides a continuous travel route from major German cities on the DB Fernverkehr network to Rønne (Bornholm, Denmark) and Trelleborg (Sweden), as well as in the opposite direction. Railroad stations Sassnitz and Binz

The nearest train stations to the ferry port of Sassnitz are the train station in Sassnitz (about 6 km) and the train station in Binz (about 10 km). The regional train Sassnitz-Stralsund runs every full hour. The train station in Binz is seasonally served by trains of the DB Fernverkehr. You can get information about the offer via this link.

Long-term car park

The parking spaces are near the passenger terminal. Directions to the car park are indicated.

The parking fees are:

Please detach the parking ticket when entering the car park and pay at the ticket machine before departure.

You can pay cash (only in Euro, banknotes up to 50 Euro) or by EC or credit card.

Parking reservation is not possible.
